London friends! We hope you’ll join us on August 25 for the UK premiere of “Promises: Through Congress,” hosted by the Barbican.
The film, which was premiered by the Whitney and The Broad this Spring, is an extraordinary multi-sensory experience and a collaboration between Julie Mehretu and Floating Points, directed by Trevor Tweeten. It will be projected in person for the first time in the Barbican’s Sculpture Court as part of their outdoor cinema series.
Floating Points’ 2016 film “Reflections: Mojave Desert” (2016), directed by Anna Diaz Ortuño, will also be screened as part of the double bill.
Tickets for the evening are now SOLD OUT, but you’ll be able to view the films online for 48 hours after the screening, via the Barbican website. Click here for more information about the films and the outdoor cinema series!
