We’re back from a mini-tour in Europe that took us to Le Guess Who?, Cologne, and London Jazz—with Hamid Drake, Domenico Lancellotti, Ricardo Gomes Dias, Sheila Maurice-Gray, Ill Considered, and Irreversible Entanglements (not entirely all at once, but almost).


Sometimes, they played out. Other times, it was a séance. “The nine musicians on stage seemed to be inspired by the spirit of the saxophonist,” Christian Bos wrote 

in his review of the Cologne show for the Kölner-Stadt Anzeiger

, “even if they were by no means frozen in hero worship.” What a high honor.

We’re excited to share that next we’re taking this project to NYC Winter JazzFest in January—and then in March to Big Ears down in Knoxville, TN!
