Meshela Lee is an angel at the end of America.
After what could have been a deadly car accident, her life was spared. She saw otherworldly figures, she saw the pearly gates — and now she does God’s work with fury.
Dressed only in purple, she sings on the streets, wielding a guiro and belting over g-funk beats ripped from the internet.
Local shopkeepers complain about the noise. She doesn’t care. It’s her ministry.
